Bill Cremer’s current practice focuses heavily in the area of product liability. He also has broad experience in other facets of tort litigation including construction litigation, professional liability matters, and commercial litigation. He is a recognized expert in international law as it relates to the representation of foreign-based multinational corporations involved in U.S. litigation. His trial experience includes the defense of catastrophic injuries as well as complex class action litigation. Bill currently serves as national counsel for a variety of product manufacturers and other institutional clients.
Bill is a graduate of Lewis University (B.A., summa cum laude, 1978); Loyola Rome Center of Liberal Arts, Rome, Italy (1977-78); and Loyola University School of Law and Hamline University (J.D., 1981). He is a member of the Illinois bar, the Federal Trial Bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Bill has also been admitted to practice on a pro hac vice basis in many states throughout the United States.
Bill is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He has been recognized on multiple occasions as an Illinois Super Lawyer in the civil litigation defense practice area, a recognition bestowed on only five percent of the active bar. Bill has also been AV® Preeminent 5.0 out of 5 Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell for many years.
