In April 2016, William J. Cremer and Tan-Jen Hsu delivered a presentation to Zurich Insurance in Shanghai, China.  The presentation was entitled “A Primer on Defending Product Liability Litigation in the United States”, and focused on the variety of international legal defenses available to foreign companies that are involved in U.S. litigation.  Bill and Tan-Jen also discussed best practices for these foreign entities during the discovery phase of a civil lawsuit.  The presentation was well received, with participants from Zurich China’s claims and underwriting departments in attendance.
